Being a young company in our second year of business, we're looking to grow and make Hot Chi the best fried chicken spot to hit Chicago.

Our General Managers are trained to work each position in the restaurant as well to lead the team to success.
We believe in doing our best to make Hot Chi a better place today than it was yesterday.
The General Manager plays a key role in this, working closely with the owners to achieve labor, food, and sales goals. The General manager should run the store as if it were their own, both in the front and back of house.
What you’ll do
-Leadership & Staff Management.
Up to and including hiring, firing, and holding staff accountable.
-Facility Management
Ensuring all equipment is functioning and clean. Monitoring store cleanliness and organization. Handling minor concerns and reporting any major concerns to owners.
-Inventory Management
Ordering all inventory and ensuring successful delivery of ordered items. Sending invoices to accountants. Reconciling food cost on P&L sheet for each day.
-Cash Handling/Safe Management
The reconciliation of cash-outs, deposits, and withdrawals from the safe. Tip handling. Bi-weekly payroll processing.
-Ensuring a High Quality Customer Experience
Regular tasting of the line. Checking food on the pass to ensure aesthetic, portion, and cleanliness standards met. -Continued coaching of staff to meet customer service standards.

What you need
-High school Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree preferred
-Strong communication skills
-Experience with Google Suite programs
-Professional demeanor
-Flexible schedule
-At least three years restaurant management experience
